Summer is the time of the year when people step out of the
busyness of daily life by hitting the road to enjoy vacations, travels, and new
adventures. We visit with family and friends, discover new places and encounter
new experiences along the way.
Scripture tells us
of many travelers, journeys, and the faith discoveries that are made on the
road. The people of Israel learned to trust God while traveling in the
wilderness. Before the followers of Jesus were ever called Christians, these
Holy Spirit-fueled followers were referred to as “the Way.” It was on the road
to Damascus that the Apostle Paul’s life was changed. The life of faith is
lived on the road.
This summer, you’re invited to join Holy Cross On the Road and discovery a journey of
transformation. This blog will be the place to read reflections from the Holy Cross pastors, ministry staff, and Dashboard Jesus. It will also provide a forum for you to share your discoveries, reflections and transformations On the Road.
